I personally believe that they are, and all challenges to day have been.... Going back to the BIG BOAT in '87, and Conners first Multi hull they were all well within the scope of the gift.... The purpose is to get on the water and go as fast as possible up and down the course....It has been done many times off of NewPort, San Diego, Perth, Auckland, and Valencia.... I hope the Spirit of competition continues....However, I hope that they find a way of leveling the field so that the costs were not so prohibitive....That would allow for more challengers and more competition from around the world....
