The heads of the Geneva Nautical Society (SNG), as a club representing Alinghi in the America’s Cup, has sent a letter of invitation to the principals of Golden Gate Yacht Club (GGYC) of San Francisco, which represents Oracle in which invite you to a reunion next week in Geneva, according to sources of Alinghi.
The purpose of this meeting in principle between yacht clubs, is to iron out differences after the litigation in the courts and to reach an agreement to organize the 33rd America’s Cup, as they asked the Court of Appeals in New York Case last April 2.
Beyond reaching agreement for the hypothetical duel that both teams have to compete to the best of three races, it is possible to engage in a dialogue that could be a conventional America’s Cup with all the teams.
To do this, since Alinghi claims that its president, Ernesto Bertarelli, is open at any time to meet with the head of Oracle, Larry Ellison. This meeting could occur next week in connection with the invitation of the Geneva Nautical Society has returned GGYC of San Francisco.
The American team is not close to a possible America’s Cup with all the teams, but acknowledged last April 8 that prefers not aireen meetings that may arise between the top leaders of both teams.

Is the first report issued by the Golden Gate Yacht Club. BMW Oracle has announced that it intends to negotiate a protocol with Alinghi for the 33rd edition of the Copa America’s involvement in allowing the competition to other teams interested, as announced by the U.S. team in a statement.
This is the first report issued by the Golden Gate Yacht Club, sailing club which competes for the BMW Oracle, after the ruling issued in New York, which meant the team as “Challger of the record and opened the possibility of This was an America’s Cup duel with three races with the exclusive participation of BMW Oracle and Alinghi defender.

“At this time, the Golden Gate Yacht Club cree that it is best to maintain communication between the parties, to achieve successful conclusions as soon as possible,” the note of the yacht club.

Americans recognize that Bertarelli and Ellison have already had their first contacts. Five days after the Court of Appeals of the State of New York will validate as Challenger of Record of the 33rd America’s Cup, BMW Oracle yesterday gave his first public assessment of the sentence. And they did to reach out to advocate for a negotiated consensus for keeping the water in a cup competition in entering all the unions concerned.
Could not be otherwise. The union of Larry Ellison yesterday issued a brief statement in which it reiterated its commitment to promote a 33 Copa America with many challenges and not to test on them and multihulls between Alinghi.
The only novelty is offered in the statement submitted to the union first sword is recognizing that its owner and the Alinghi, Ernesto Bertarelli, has begun a series of contacts to try to reach an agreement: “The owner of BMW Oracle, Larry Ellison, and the president of Alinghi, Ernesto Bertarelli, has been in communication between them since the court’s decision in New York, “explained the text.

The note of the Oracle was expected by all parties involved in the Copa America. Moreover, it has not been one iota come predetermined script. Good words of the two parties are already on the table but what we lack now seems impossible to agree.
Alinghi has a protocol. A document signed by 18 unions and will be the framework agreement gives the U.S. team. The Swiss are aware of their advantage in the race of the Deed of Gift, is not going to give more concessions to be logical.
For its part, BMW Oracle will try to change the protocol in many ways. But most of all in one: the rule of the design of the boat. Americans can not agree to proceed in a Copa America that the strongest teams have already been over five months working on the design of his new sailboat.

The New York Court of Appeals ruled Thursday in favor of Oracle over Alinghi in a long-running legal fight that would now make Golden Gate Yacht Club the challenger of record for the America’s Cup.
The New York Supreme Court ruled today in favor of the U.S. team, BMW Oracle in the lawsuit against Alinghi, the America’s Cup 33 will be a duel between two teams to the best of three races in a competition in Valencia in 2010.
The competition will abandon its conventional format of several teams to hold a mourning, according to ‘Deed of Gift’ within ten months.
